Vienna, Austria

We arrived in Vienna later in the evening, just in time to settle into our super cheap (but surprisingly very nice) hostel, freeze our butts off outside and go to sleep. We spent two full days in Vienna, and while trying to recover from my sickness, we basically just wandered around, trying to see what came upon us. Vienna is ranked #2 in the world for highest standards of living, which is obvious with the types of stores you pass while walking around. We rented bikes, went to the famous Ferris wheel, but ended up just riding the swings ride rather than paying an arm and a leg for the Ferris wheel. We took the bikes out the second day also for about a two hour ride. Fortunately, I got my bike fix. ;)
Vienna is full of museums like this. We didn't end up going into any, but they were spectacular from the outside.
The awesome roofed church.
Fell in love with this quote (but not the ugly shirt).
Mozart statue/plaza.
Riding bikes at night.
The ginormous Ferris wheel.
The mini replica.
The biggest hot dog everrr.

Quite a view of Vienna from the top.

Hanging out on our swing.
The city bikes, saved my life, and my legs.
The one beer I ended up drinking in Vienna and it was delishhhh.
Pretty awesome quote.
Our biking path.
Only took us about 2 hours to find the river we were looking for, but we made it.
This swan swam right up to us.
Swimming pool on a boat... just when you know you have too much money.
The one on the right is Vienna's famous cake.

The plaza was filled with these awesome little chairs.
Wish I could have this sign...
Vienna was relaxing, beautiful and much colder than Italy, but I enjoyed the low time to enjoy myself before heading to another major city. Thursday night I took an overnight bus to Berlin to meet up with my mate, Marina!
