Art History

Just so you all don't think I'm only traveling and doing crazy fun things during my semester, I decided to share some of my school work. I'm taking this class called Art History. We have class every Tuesday and Thursday for an hour and a half, but we are only in the classroom on Tuesdays. Every Thursday we go to a museum or building in Granada to study whatever artistic quality it may hold. It's pretty awesome. Our first three weeks consisted of field trips to cathedrals to studying the architecture and such, which is pretty breathtaking just to see. Our first assignment was to find a Barocco (it's an art movement) style "portada" to draw. A "portada" is the door along with all the decorations around the door. So I wanted to share with you the portada I chose to draw along with my drawing.

Anyways, I leave for my 10 day long semana blanca this week. I'm heading to Rome, Florence, Venice, Vienna and Berlin, so I won't be able to blog until I get back. Ciao!
