Venice, Italy

Our ride share drove us from Florence to Venice early Tuesday morning. He dropped us off as close to the city center as he could get, left us there to do a few things outside of the city he wanted to do, and then returned two hours later to pick us up again and head to Vienna, Austria. It was just enough time for us to take a Gondola Ride and have more gelato!
The city under water.
All the "streets" were actually full of water and hundreds of boats.
Our Gondola!
The conveniently located front door... perfectly places you into your boat I guess?
Again, another beautiful city in Italy!

Our amazing Gondolier. He even sang for us a few times.
It was uniquely stunning!

Gelato #6: Kit-Kat. After this, I was officially retired from gelato.
We had an amazing view on our way to Vienna, Austria. The mountains were much different than those that I've seen in the United States. Also, there were many old cities built on little plateaus in the mountains as their defense mechanism. Our ride share was awesome and filled us in with as much history and facts that he could fit into the 10 hour car ride.

Onto Austria...
